Aloe vera is known in Ayurveda as that which keeps a woman always youthful, it's name Kumari translates into "beautiful young girl". It is a rejuvenating herb, part of a special class of Ayurvedic herbs known as rasayana.  Aloe vera stimulates fibroblasts, the skin cells responsible for wound healing and the manufacture of collagen, the protein that controls the aging process of the skin and wrinkling. The skin absorbs aloe vera up to four times faster than water; it appears to help the pores of the skin open and receive the moisture and nutrients of the plant. In fact, approximately 50% of the total HA resides in the skin and so is crucial to the moisture and elasticity of our skin. Unfortunately, as we age, the concentration and molecular weight of HA substantially decreases. 
 
Rosehip oil is loaded with skin nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. It also contains phenols that have been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.
